OmniBSIC Bank Ghana Relocates Branches to Enhance Customer Service and Accessibility

OmniBSIC Bank Ghana, the fastest-growing bank in Ghana, has relocated two of its branches to improve customer service and accessibility. The Tarkwa branch has been moved to Plot No. 7A near the old DVLA Office on Hospital Road, while the Adabraka branch has been relocated to Nii Amugi Street, 46 Kwame Nkrumah Avenue, Adabraka.

Why this matters: This relocation of OmniBSIC Bank Ghana's branches is significant as it reflects the bank's commitment to improving customer service and accessibility, which can have a positive impact on the overall banking experience in Ghana. This move may also lead to increased competition among banks in Ghana, driving innovation and better services for customers.

Bernice Asamoah, Divisional Head of the Bank, stated, "The new locations are much more central and allow us to reach our clients easily and become more accessible. Moving to these prime areas in the Tarkwa and Adabraka municipalities enables us to do more and serve more clients, which is beneficial for both the branches and the Bank as a whole."

These relocations are part of OmniBSIC Bank's ongoing efforts to improve customer service, enhance brand visibility, and increase operational efficiency. By situating branches in more strategic locations, the bank aims to meet the evolving needs of its customers and strengthen their relationships.

OmniBSIC Bank Ghana was recently adjudged Fastest Growing Corporate Bank Ghana 2023 at the 13th Year Global Banks & Finance Awards. Additionally, a new report by the Bank of Ghana has shown that OmniBSIC Ghana provided the lowest interest rate of 33.06 percent on loans to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in March 2024 over a tenor of 5 years.

The bank is a fully-fledged universal bank that traces its roots to a merger between OmniBank and Sahel Sahara Bank in 2017. The merger was spurred by the banking sector consolidation programme introduced by the Bank of Ghana.

OmniBSIC Bank Ghana has 40 branches across the country, providing a complete range of products, services, and digital offerings designed to meet the needs of its customers. The bank's commitment to maintaining the highest level of integrity, transparency, and accountability in all operations has been a cornerstone of its rapid growth and success.

The relocations are expected to create more opportunities for the bank to engage with and support its clientele more effectively, attracting a larger customer base and providing an enhanced banking experience.
