Loewe Unveils Stellar OLED TVs with Concrete Design and Advanced MLA Technology

German luxury TV manufacturer Loewe has launched its new Stellar range of OLED TVs, featuring a unique concrete design and advanced Multi-Layer Architecture (MLA) screens. This marks the first product from Europe's inaugural 'Open Cell' OLED TV production line, located in Kronach, Germany.

The Stellar range will initially be available in 42-inch and 55-inch screen sizes, with larger models, including 48-inch, 65-inch, 77-inch, 83-inch, and 97-inch, set to follow later this year. The 42-inch model is priced at €3,299, while the 55-inch version will cost €4,299.

One of the standout features of the Stellar TVs is their unique concrete design. Each TV's rear cabinet is made from a thin layer of real concrete, creating naturally forming patterns that make each set unique. Despite the use of concrete, the TVs remain lightweight enough for wall mounting.

The Stellar TVs are equipped with a built-in soundbar capable of delivering up to 200W of sound power, enhancing the audio experience. Additionally, the TVs feature a distinctive activity LED, an X-shaped stand, and ambient lighting beneath the bottom edge, referred to as Magic Light.

For connectivity, the Stellar TVs come with four HDMI 2.1 ports, each supporting variable refresh rates and 144Hz from compatible sources. This makes the TVs suitable for gaming with the latest consoles, such as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

The TVs also incorporate Loewe's new os9 operating system, which offers smoother browsing and more responsive controls. The system provides access to key streaming apps and on-demand services, making it a comprehensive entertainment hub.

In addition to the advanced display and design features, the Stellar TVs include a built-in dual tuner and recording system, effectively making them self-contained DVRs. Users can save shows to an integrated SSD, eliminating the need for a separate PVR box.

Loewe's decision to manufacture its own OLED panels marks a significant development in the industry, as it is the only TV manufacturer outside of Asia to do so. This allows Loewe to maintain strict quality controls and offer a unique product in the market.

The Stellar TVs will be available in Europe, with no plans for a US release. However, the TVs are expected to launch in Australia mid-year through specialist home theatre dealers and The Good Guys.

Loewe's new Stellar range combines advanced OLED technology with a distinctive design, positioning it as a premium option for consumers seeking both style and performance in their home entertainment systems.
